This 1979 Annual Report prepared by the Secretariat is submitted for the notation of the Council at the 15th SEAMEC Conference held in Manila, the Philippines. Copies of it will be made available, as has been the practice of the Secretariat, to member countries, associate members, other governments within and outside the Southeast Asian Region and those organizations, agencies and foundations associated in one way or another with the development, planning, implementation or funding of the very wide range of activities and programmes of the Organization.
