The “9th Annual Forum of the High Officials of Basic Education of the SEAMEO Member and Associate Member Countries” was convened by H.E. Dr. Myo Thein Gyi, Minister of Education, Myanmar, in collaboration with all of the High Officials the of SEAMEO member countries and the SEAMEO Secretariat, on 17 September 2020 at 9:00 A.M. (GMT+7). It is the first virtual gathering of the SEAMEO High Officials where they shared best practices amidst COVID-19 lockdowns and discussed education policies and plans related to the reopening and rehabilitation of schools in Southeast Asia.
