This book clarifies ASEAN's role as a regional partner in the education sector and supports ASEAN programmes that raise awareness of regional identity; promote access to and improve the quality of primary, secondary and tertiary education; support regional mobility programmes for students, teachers, and faculty and strategies for internationalisation of education; and support for other ASEAN sectoral bodies with an interest in education.
