The “Synthesis Report on TVET Teacher Education in SEA” includes a detailed comparative analysis on TVET Teacher Education for each country, a formulated future research agenda with details for critical themes, and recommendations for improving training programmes for teachers in the region. Some recommendations include developing stronger linkages with industry and their needs, creating practical and hands-on industrial exposure of TVET teachers, and creating an internationally accepted TVET teacher education standard framework for the region.

Along with the synthesis report, a “Compilation of Country Reports” was also published. Each country report includes details and charts, in each of the nine specific countries, as well as an overview of TVET teacher education, current policy and practices, challenges and strategies, and conclusions and recommendations.
