This booklet aims to describe the rationale, procedures and process to develop SEARS-MT which consists of four dimensions: professional knowledge, professional teaching and learning
processes, personal and professional attributes, and professional communities. This booklet also presented nine Southeast Asian country reports that related to mathematics teacher education except for Myanmar and Singapore. This is designed to serve as credible reference material in enhancing and upskilling mathematics teacher quality for education policy makers, teacher educators and researchers and other education stakeholders for Southeast Asian country.
