The policy mapping study was a key component of the work under the partnership between UNICEF East Asia Pacific Regional Office and the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Secretariat, in collaboration with UNESCO Bangkok Regional Office. The partnership supports Outcome 3 “Regional Exchange” of the programme Empowered and Equal Futures for Girls through Education in Southeast Asia, managed by UNICEF EAPRO with financial support from Australia DFAT. This regional exchange outcome works to strategically promote capacity building, evidence generation and knowledge sharing to inform and influence gender transformative education systems in the region.
