The Office of the Education Council (OEC) has consistently published the Education in Thailand Report for years. The primary objective is to present the current information on the educational situation and the progress of education development in Thailand across various aspects. The OEC aims to disseminate this report to both domestic and international audiences, including educational agencies, institutions, foreign embassies in Thailand, Thai embassies abroad, international organizations, policymakers, academics, educators, and the public.

This annual report, “Education in Thailand 2025: For the Future of
Education and Skills,” provides an overview of Thailand’s education system. It details the current state of development, recent movements, and future recommendations to align education with international standards. The report is organized around three strategic themes defined by the OEC: (1) Manpower System—developing human resources from early childhood through lifelong learning; (2) Financial System and Resource Allocation—distributing budgets and resources to enhance education quality; and (3) Accountability System—ensuring access and equity for quality education.
