This issue of Guidelines is a commemorative issue marking the twentieth year of operation of the SEAMEO RELC. It contains articles from two of our long-time associates - Jack Richards, a former RELC staff member and a member of our first Editorial Committee, and Paul Nation who wrote an article for the first issue of Guidelines. In this issue, we have also included, in addition to our regular articles, a special section consisting of reprints of three articles from early copies of Guidelines no longer available.
