This preliminary report on educational problems in the SEAMEO Region represents the first in a series of conferences, meetings and other interactions among active SEAMEO countries in helping to plan "INNOTECH for the 80's". The purpose of this conference has been to bring together educators from SEAMEO countries to identify problems which education will face in the coming decade. It will be toward these problems that INNOTECH will devote its efforts in service to the Region and to the individual countries making up the SEAMEO family. The results of this conference are to serve as a framework for further discussions and clarifications within and among member countries.
